Veteran Volunteers can provide a variety of services for a hospice patient. These can include sitting at bedside with them, reading to them, or even relieving caregivers so they can go out and get groceries or run an errand. In our latest video, Navy Veteran and Hospice Military Liaison Aaron discusses the many ways a Veteran Volunteer can help a hospice patient.
Patient services are provided without regard to race, color, religion, age, sex (an individual’s sex, gender identity, sex stereotyping, pregnancy, childbirth and related conditions) , sexual orientation, disability (mental or physical), communicable disease, or national origin.
